Beautiful Brows

Brows Beautiful Brows

A few girls have asked me what other amazing products there are out there..so thought id show you my top 3...for all budgets

1st up and the most expensive is Benefits Brow Zings-£22.50

It contains a pigmented wax for smoothing down unruly brow hairs at one side and a natural shaded powder for setting on the other..it also comes in 3 shades; light, medium and dark.

Next up is HD Brows who have there own eyebrow powder palettes-which are priced at around £20.00

this is the bombshell palette

Again you might feel this is pricey for a brow powder but your getting double the product of the browzings. They come with 4 colours in each and also come in 3 colour ranges according to your hair colour-

Bombshell:  For blondes…a nude, a carbon shadow, and two blonde tone powders. When used as an eye shadow palette, this will create a cool natural daytime look and a soft evening look.

Foxy: For brunettes…a nude, a carbon shadow, and two medium brown tone powders. Use this as an eye shadow palette to create a warm natural daytime look or a smouldering night time look.

Vamp: For dark hair…a nude, a carbon shadow, and two dark brown tone powders. Used as an eye shadow palette, this will create a dramatic smoky look

These sell out constantly online but good news...

These are available at my Vanity HD for clients priced at £20.00
 from Feb 24th-
any orders send me an email to

And finally for the BARGAIN brow powder....ELF Eyebrow kit at a mere £3.50(*not including postage)
Does pretty much everything brow-zings is supposed to though its maybe not just as pigmented
But comes in 4 shade colours; light, ash, medium and dark.

ELF is a great website with lots a cheapy dupes of more expensive products so will have to put a few up on a separate blog....

Have a nice weekend girls

Reviews coming up next week...

Wake up Rimmel

I blogged a little while ago about how i was going to try Rimmels wake me up foundation..well i didn't get back to you about it as i really wasn't impressed! The shade ranges run very orange and it looks more sticky/shiny than glowy. Powder don't sit very well on top of it and the coverage was slightly patchy.
I love Rimmels lasting finish in shade 200 soft beige so got wake me up in the same shade, but it was orange toned in comparison

Healthy mix in shade 53-Rimmel lasting finish in shade soft beige-wake me up in soft beige

As I'm of fair skin/hair and i do prefer more yellow/neutral toned foundations,so brunettes may like the shades, feel free to leave me a comment below <3

Pastel me perfect

Pastel shades seem to be on every catwalk at the minute..so its no surprise that makeup companies are following suit.  Although i am no huge fan of pastel lip shades..i do love it on eyes and especially nails!
When in superdrug emptying out my bank account i always pick up a few cheapy MUA products ( at £1 each its rude not too-rite?) So i was excited to hear they have an online website..i will hook you up below

After a visit to the page..these beauty's arrived yesterday

They have a love hearts range which has lovely shades in both lip tints and nail polishes

this is two coats of the MUA  lavender, purple an yellow

The eyeshadow palette is £4.00 and isn't bad quality for the price..there very subtle and shimmery but are great for a pale pastel look.
Happy bargain shopping girls

Love is in the air...

Was hoping to get this up before Valentines Day but was a busy "eyebrow shaping" bee.
I am a huge lover of red and pink lipstick, Macs ruby woo being my fav!
But today i thot id do my favourite lipsticks from mac that ive aquired-so far ;)

1st up-Cyndi from the Viva Glam range, which honestly seems to suit everyone!
Bad news is that it was a limted edition one a few years back...
good news-there is many many dupes out there!

Next we have my latest buy and new fav pink..Macs impassioned..
it is a punchy bright summery pink

it was used on this model in this shoot i found

Now we have Macs Lickable..quite similar but its deeper pink on

Next up is Costa Chic...i LOVE this one-its very different from other lipsticks i have..the best way to describe it is an elecric peach, but it still has pink undertones...again its screams summer <3

this picture dosnt really show how bright it actually looks on your lips

its prob closer to this colour

and finally this is Party Line..its a plumy shade but can look deep red on lips,i suppose it would fall in the burgundy shade range

Party line against ruby woo

Well thats my Valentines lipstick favs..
Hope everyone got treated or treated themselves...

P.s Macs lipsticks are priced at £13.50 each-i'll link u up below

Wake me Up Vs Healthy Mix

Have been reading the press release from Rimmels new Wake me up foundation and the general feedback is that it's rivalling the Bourjois healthy mix-in which case I'm very excited to try as Rimmel really have stepped it up a gear with there foundations lately...will get myself down to Boots and let you all know if it's worth the trip V x

Bonjour Bourjois

I love trying out new foundations and was really interested in this foundation when i found out that Holly Willoughby's MUA uses this at the min on shoots! The foundation I'm talking about is Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation...

It comes in 5 shades, all of which are quite neutral based..if anything they lean a bit towards the NC shade range of MAC.
I have quite combination skin but would find it more oily than dry-so i would always have my powder compact with me on a nite out but this ladies eliminates that! I find i don't have to top up during the day and it dries to quite a powder matte finish..leaving it up to us where we want are skin to shine..
Again the little sis was called in to try this on...needless to say she bought it in two shades afterwards..<3

under flash..highlighter added

It really doesn't feel like there's a heavy foundation on your skin but it does truely give a medium/full coverage and it does claim 16hr staying power
And best part it is a pure bargain at a mere £7.99 on eBay! Its also available in Boots,Superdrug etc for around £9.99...be careful there is a foundation serum also which i haven't tested..so just incase you get confused...

Again this is how i found this foundation for me and those iv tried it on but as we know everyone's skin is different and sometimes likes to play up on us when we change are foundation's..x

Any feedback leave me a comment x

BROWS BROWS BROWS

Hey guys so in keeping with my last brow blog i thought id show you my absolute favourite product from HD Brow range..the wonderful...the amazing...HD Brow Pencil! We all know that God did not bless us all with the perfect shaped brow-but once you've had them professionally shaped (by a HD Brow Stylist of course ;) then this pencil pretty much makes it fool proof to fill in any little gaps and give them that fullness..a lot of my clients find that the pencil helps them to stretch out the time between appointments..giving there brows time to grow in any sparse areas...below is my little sis..her last HD Brow treatment was on 20th Dec and these were taken on 20th Jan..she has quite fair brows but loves them a bit darker when shes got makeup on..."enter" the HD Brow pencil..i haven't plucked/waxed any this is simply the pencil in all its glory..

Its also waterproof so you don't get any smudging like from other brow pencils..its also quite a different shape as you shape it into a flat pointed ridge rather than a round tip pencil, making it easier to fake those little hairs that wont grow...

It also comes in brown..

some hair-like strokes on my hand

There is however one downside..these babies are only available from HD Brow salons & stylists...but girls you know were to find us...V x
